Sundering the Gods (“we,” “us”) wants you to be happy with your order. This Refund Policy explains when refunds, replacements, and cancellations apply.

How to request a refund or replacement

Email us within the windows below with your order number, what went wrong, and photos if an item arrived damaged or incorrect. We’ll confirm next steps by email.

Physical books (including signed copies we ship ourselves)

• Damaged or defective on arrival: Contact us within 14 days of delivery. We’ll replace the item or refund you, at our option.
• Wrong item sent: Contact us within 14 days of delivery for a replacement or refund.
• Change of mind: Unopened, unused books may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the product price. Buyer pays return shipping unless we made an error. Signed copies that have been opened may not be returnable for change of mind.

Custom dedicated / personalized books

Because these are made or inscribed to order with your dedication text, custom dedicated books cannot be returned or refunded for change of mind once production or personalization has started. If the book arrives damaged or we made an error in the dedication you approved/submitted, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we’ll make it right.

Print-on-demand merch (shirts, hoodies, mugs, and similar items fulfilled by our print partner)

• Damaged, defective, or incorrect item: Contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund.
• Change of mind / wrong size ordered: Print-on-demand items are generally not returnable for change of mind. If a sizing issue is due to a product defect, contact us and we’ll help.

Digital products (eBooks and other downloads)

Digital products are delivered electronically. All sales of digital products are final once the download or access has been provided, except where required by law or if the file is defective/corrupt—in that case, contact us and we’ll replace the file or refund you.

Audiobooks

Audiobook formats marked sold out or coming soon are not available for purchase. When audiobooks are offered, the digital-product rules above apply unless we state otherwise on the product page.

Shipping costs on refunds

Original shipping charges are only refunded if we shipped the wrong item, a defective item, or the package never arrived due to our error or carrier loss we confirm. Otherwise shipping is non-refundable.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or payment provider (often several business days after we issue the refund).

Order cancellation

If you need to cancel, email us as soon as possible. We can cancel if the order has not entered fulfillment, personalization, or print production. Once those steps start, cancellation may not be possible.
