Welcome to Sundering the Gods. These Terms of Service (“Termsâ€) govern your use of ljamesrice.com and related shopping services (the “Siteâ€). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

The Site is powered by Shopify, Inc. They provide the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell products to you.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to place an order. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account.
2. Products & pricing
We sell books, maps, merchandise, digital downloads, and related items. Product descriptions, images, and prices may change. We reserve the right to correct errors and to limit or cancel quantities if needed (for example, suspected fraud or inventory issues).
Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise. Taxes and shipping are added at checkout when applicable.
3. Orders & payment
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline an order. Payment is collected at checkout through Shopify’s available payment methods (which may include cards and digital wallets such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, or Google Pay).
4. Custom dedications & personalization
For custom dedicated products, you are responsible for the dedication text you submit. Keep it appropriate and within any length guidelines on the product page. We may refuse or edit content that is unlawful, harassing, or violates our stated rules (including vulgarity limits on the product page). Personalized items may have limited refund rights as described in our Refund Policy.
5. Digital products
eBooks and other digital goods are licensed for your personal use. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly share download files except as allowed by law (for example, fair use). Delivery issues should be reported promptly so we can help.
6. Shipping, refunds & privacy
Shipping terms are in our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are in our Refund Policy. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Those policies are part of your agreement with us.
7. Intellectual property
Book content, cover art, maps, logos, characters, and Site materials are owned by us or our licensors. Purchase of a product does not transfer copyright. You may not copy or commercially exploit our IP except as a purchased product allows for personal enjoyment.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site—including attempting to break security, scrape in an abusive way, interfere with other customers, or use the Site for unlawful activity.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
Except where required by law, the Site and products are provided “as is.†We do not make unstated warranties of uninterrupted service or perfect accuracy of all Site content.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Site, your dedication/personalization content, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence apply.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Site with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
